A second man has been charged after a car was driven into a row of shops in Inverness and set on fire.

Several units at Fairways Business Park were destroyed in the overnight blaze on Saturday 8 March.

Police Scotland said officers had arrested a 38-year-old man and charged him with wilful fire-raising.

A 34-year-old man was previously arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.

Det Insp Caroline MacKay said: "I would like to extend my thanks to the local community for their co-operation and support during this investigation."
